April 10 Foundation

The April 10 Foundation was established on 28 April 2010. Its goal is to bring aid to the children of victims of the Smolensk air disaster, the children of other catastrophes and natural disasters, as well as those whose parents died while in public service. The foundation will, in particular, secure the educational needs of its beneficiaries (e.g. with scholarships or aid supporting education).

The list of the foundation's founders remains open. Such a status will be awarded to any firm that transfers at least PLN 200,000 to the Foundation's account within the next 30 days. Other interested parties will be able to take part in realising the foundation's aims by purchasing special "bricks". They are offered in particular to members of organisations supporting the ideals of the foundation, including the Confederation of Polish Employers, the Polish Chamber of Commerce and the Polish Confederation of Private Employers "Lewiatan".
